Current boundary
Know what is live before you promise it.
RightSide remains in controlled private founder development; external beta is not authorized. The first release proves a narrow path well instead of claiming to replace every cloud platform.
Supported installer systems
- Linux x64, including x64 WSL2.
- Apple silicon macOS.
- Node.js 22.13 or newer.
Not currently supported
- Native Windows outside WSL2.
- Intel macOS.
- Linux ARM64.
- Public self-service signup.
- A claim that every framework or workload shape is supported.
Founder-wedge boundary
Database is disabled unless explicitly requested. Hosted-app authentication is enabled when CLI/MCP creates a project; configure public paths or explicitly disable hosted auth when the application must be public. Persisted application data remains a separate opt-in path.
When to stop
Stop and ask the owner when access is not allowlisted, a requested capability falls outside the documented path, the repair would require platform authority, or the same structured failure persists after evidence-based source repairs.
Release truth. Documentation describes the intended and source-backed contract. Public availability still depends on separately verified DNS, TLS, release, and live acceptance state.
